Remindr holds some of the most personal material a person has — photos of prescriptions, messages with doctors, receipts, recordings of your own voice. This page says exactly what we collect, what we do with it, who else ever touches it, and how you get it back or get it erased.
The short version: we do not share your data with anyone. Not sold, not rented, not handed to advertisers or data brokers — ever. Your memory is yours alone: every account has its own separate brain, no other user can see it, and nothing you upload is used to train AI models. The only growth metric we keep is your account email address, so we can count how many people use Remindr. The handful of services that physically run the app for us (hosting, AI processing, payments — listed in section 4) touch data solely on our instructions and never for their own use.

We do not collect precise GPS location. We do not read your device's contacts, camera roll, or messages by ourselves — everything in Remindr got there because you sent it, either by taking a photo in the app, recording a memo, or uploading a file or export.
Your information lives in your account — and it belongs to you, and only you. Your content and your brain sit inside your own account, walled off per user and per workspace. Nobody at Remindr reads, reviews, browses, or uses what you store — as a firm policy, human access to customer content is prohibited except if you explicitly ask us to help with your account, or where the law compels us. It is encrypted in transit (TLS) and encrypted at rest in your cloud vault, the database is locked to the application's own system account, and the AI assistant itself is built never to surface your content to anyone but you. You can export everything or delete everything, any time — because it's yours, not ours.
When you add a photo, memo or import, its contents are sent over an encrypted connection to our AI provider (Anthropic, in the United States) to be read, described and turned into facts. When you ask your brain a question, the question plus the relevant stored facts and summaries are sent the same way to produce the answer.
Anthropic processes this on our behalf as a service provider under its commercial API terms: content sent through the API is not used to train models, and it is not retained for Anthropic's own purposes beyond what is needed to return the response and meet its abuse-monitoring obligations.
The assistant is also bound by a rule we built into it: it ignores anything that appears legally sensitive or incriminating and will not repeat, summarize or act on it. See section 5 of the Terms.

That is the complete list, and every one of them is a service provider acting on our instructions — none of it is "sharing" your data for anyone else's benefit. We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, session recorders, or third-party analytics products such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. We have never sold or shared personal information for money or for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not.
We will disclose data if we are legally compelled by valid legal process, or to protect someone's safety. Where we are permitted to, we will tell you first.
If you give Remindr your mobile number and consent to texts, we send only what you asked for: a fixed-template notification when a reminder you scheduled comes due (your reminder's content is never included in the text itself), one-time sign-in/verification codes, and — if you request one — a test message. Texts go only to your own verified number. Message frequency varies and is controlled by you; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts, or HELP for help (or email [email protected]).
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own use; text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, excluding SignalWire, our SMS delivery provider acting solely on our instructions to deliver your messages.
Content inside a Remindr Vault workspace is encrypted with a key derived from the Vault PIN you choose. The PIN is never stored, and the derived key exists only in server memory while your Vault is unlocked (up to 30 minutes at a time). While locked, Vault contents are ciphertext to us — we cannot read, produce, or recover them, and a forgotten Vault PIN means the contents are permanently unrecoverable by anyone, including us. During an unlocked session the server necessarily processes Vault content in memory to serve you (including AI answers you request); nothing decrypted is written to disk. Vault reminders that fire while the Vault is locked deliver only a generic "a Vault reminder is due" notice — never the content.

Wherever you live, we give every user the same rights:
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; if you are in California you may use an authorized agent.
Because Remindr stores conversations and photos, it inevitably contains information about other people — your doctor, your contractor, whoever texted you. You are responsible for handling that respectfully and lawfully. We process it only to provide the service to you, we never build profiles of those people, and we never contact them except to deliver a reminder you explicitly addressed to them.
Remindr does not set a minimum age, but it is not designed or marketed for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If a young person uses Remindr, a parent or guardian should set the account up and stay involved. A parent or guardian can email [email protected] at any time to see what is stored for their child, correct it, or have it deleted — we act on those requests within 30 days.
Remindr operates in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards.
If we change this policy materially, we bump the version above and ask you to review it the next time you sign in. Prior versions are available on request.
